Volunteering

Maidstone offers its employees two days of corporate volunteering each year. We actively encourage our staff to use this time to engage with local biodiversity and climate change projects. This year, this has included:

  • the planting of 633 trees in Allington Open Space for the COVID-19 5 Year Memorial
  • a tree audit of species, health, and numbers in Platinum Meadow (over 2,000 trees)
  • support at our eco hub event
  • tree planting at National Tree Planting Week

We aim to hold an annual Spring Clean at Mote Park to encourage staff and residents to participate in.
